Brief:  Yeomans is a well-established bathroom, kitchen and laundry goods supplier in Victoria. They offer a showroom, sales to the public, consulting as well as other services.

 

• Assists customers in achieving their vision for a perfect bathroom, kitchen or laundry

• Sells a wide variety of goods including tiles, tapware, basin, sinks and accessories in store and online

 

Like other tile sellers they faced challenges around the conversion between boxes containing a specific number of tiles and the required meters squared (m2) required by the customer. Careful calculation needs to be made to ensure that customers receive the correct number of whole boxes of product for their project while also allowing for wastage. This requirement along with a website migration, integrations and a very large product catalogue required a robust inventory management system.

 

Solution: Implement and introduce an advanced inventory management system that integrates with Xero and their online store.

 

• Convert and import a very large catalogue of products with products sourced from many suppliers

• Migrate data and multitudes of product images from an existing system

• Use product bill of materials to define alternate units of measure for thousands of tile products: Define m2 contained in each whole box of tiles which needed to also work with the sales website and assist in the face-to-face sales process

• Integrate an online sales website and Xero accounting software

Leveraging our extensive expertise in Cin7 Core we were able to avoid problems often arising from poorly constructed product data. We applied our experience to build a product catalogue containing tens of thousands of products while defining product bill of materials simultaneously.

 

Our team navigated the complex layering of data from multiple systems and suppliers and built a cohesive inventory management system. This allowed strong support for sales, inventory, reporting and other key business processes.
